Bike rental
Discover the charm of our ports and villages surrounded by nature in a fun and relaxed way. The Arcachon Basin is equipped with a network of secure cycle paths of more than 220 km. If you wish, you can rent bikes for one or more days independently. The bikes will be delivered directly to the hotel without the hassle of traveling on the day of rental and return.
This is an external service at the Hôtel le Grain de sable. In order to offer you the best service, prior reservation is strongly recommended (minimum 48 hours before your arrival). This service is subject to availability. A security deposit will be requested when booking, on the day of signing the contract.

Our skipper partner, Ludovic, invites you to discover the beauty of the basin by private boat or to spend your day at the Banc d'Arguin >, to enjoy the Cabanes Tchanquées or the Bird Island or to organize a breakfast or an aperitif for you at sunset along the Cap Ferret peninsula from the Bassin.
Featuring a 9 meter barge (11 people maximum). Departures are from the Grand Piquey pier, 20 to 30 minutes from the hotel.
This activity depends on tides, weather conditions and availability, so advance reservation is essential.

Union of Arcachonnais Bâteliers
Between sky and sea, admire the bird island and the tchanquée cabins, emblematic silhouettes which today watch over the Arcachon Bay in a unique environment. Cross the oyster beds along the water and pass along the tiny oyster farming hamlets and the typical villas of the Cap Ferret peninsula : Piquey, le Canon, l'Herbe, la Vigne... Several tours are available and can be booked at the hotel or directly on the website www.bateliers-arcachon.com
