Bike rental
Discover in a fun and relaxed way the charm of our ports and villages surrounded by nature. The Bassin d'Arcachon is equipped with a network of secure cycle paths of more than 220 km. If you wish, you can rent bikes for one or more days independently. The bikes will be delivered directly to the hotel without the hassle of moving on the day of rental and return.
This is a service outside the Grain de sable hotel. In order to offer you the best service, a prior reservation is strongly recommended (48 hours minimum before your arrival). This service is subject to availability. A security deposit will be requested when booking, on the day the contract is signed.

Our partner skipper, Ludovic, invites you to discover the beauty of the basin in a private boat or to spend your day at the Banc d'Arguin, to enjoy the Cabanes Tchanquées or the Ile aux Oiseaux or even to organize for you a breakfast or an aperitif at sunset along the Cap Ferret peninsula from the Bassin.
Featured barge 9 meters (11 people maximum). Departures are from the Grand Piquey pier, 20 to 30 minutes from the hotel.
This activity is subject to tides, weather conditions and availability, so prior booking is essential.

Arcachonnais Boatmen's Union
Between sky and sea, admire the bird island and the cabins on stilts, emblematic silhouettes that today watch over the Bassin d'Arcachon in a unique environment. Criss-cross the oyster beds along the water and walk along the tiny oyster-farming hamlets and the typical villas of the Cap Ferret peninsula: Piquey, le Canon, l'Herbe, la Vigne... Several tours are available and can be booked at the hotel or directly on the website www.bateliers-arcachon.com
